The Specialist Hospital in Brzozów – one of the biggest hospitals in the Podkarpackie Province – provides treatment to approximately 15 000 patients a year including over 3000 patients of the Chemotherapy Ward, 1700 patients of the Oncology Surgery Ward and 1650 patients of the Radiotherapy Ward.

The hospital is of a multi-profile character with a tendency to transform towards the oncology profile and that is why there is great pressure put on prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer related diseases. The hospital is a dynamically growing health care unit and it makes significant investments in its equipment and infrastructure. One of them included the installation of an air conditioning and ventilation system in the hospital’s rooms. Throughout the last years the facility has been fitted with cabinets, AHUs and laminar ceilings by KLIMOR.

The complete system included, among other things, 2 air conditioning SKH cabinets with glycol recovery modules, heat and humidification pumps designed for operating theatres a supply and exhaust hygienic MCKH AHU connected with a cooler and a heater section designed for the brachytherapy and magnetic resonance institute, hygienic MCKH AHUs in different configurations, suspended PCKb AHUs and laminar NSL ceilings that guarantee linear air supply around the operating table. KLIMOR hygienic devices meet all rigorous requirements concerning air purity, supply air temperature and humidity maintenance that are forced by hospital rooms such as operating theatres or laboratories.
