Establishment of the Company

Klimor is established in the period of intensive growth in the shipbuilding industry in Poland as a result of merging a few national shipbuilding companies into one organization. In those days Klimor operates as a specialized business unit supplying cooling and air conditioning products dedicated to the Polish shipbuilding and shipyard industry. The initial stage of Klimor’s activity is based on assembly only.

1971

Commencement of production

Dynamic growth in the shipbuilding industry results in a decision to invest in the own production plant. In order to achieve that two manufacturing facilities are founded.
Klimor, as the only company in Europe starts to deliver ‘SPIRO’ ducts which constitutes an absolute novelty. Klimor is also regarded one of the leading manufacturers of Cu-Al heat exchangers.

1974

Klimor, as the first Polish company, develops a prototype of an air conditioning unit and then launches its regular production. The manufacturing operation of Klimor covers full range of air conditioning and ventilation units and systems designed for the maritime industry.

1979

Leading supplier of maritime industry

The company manufactures comprehensive air conditioning and cooling systems for the shipbuilding industry in Poland. At the same time it is also the leading exporter to Central and Eastern Europe.
Klimor becomes the undisputed number one in the HVACR industry with regard to both quantity and quality. The company successfully starts to export its units to many Western European Countries (EEC).

1982

The company provides air conditioning, ventilation and cooling installations as part of a wide package of services - from the delivery and assembly of equipment, components and automation, through system start-up, to the preparation of a detailed delivery and acceptance report.

1996

Hygienic air-conditioning systems

Thanks to many years of experience, production flexibility and high quality of manufactured equipment, KLIMOR develops its offer for land-based facilities dedicated to health care and the so-called "clean technologies" - laboratories and pharmaceutical facilities.

Hygienic air-conditioning and ventilation units manufactured by the company, which are made on the basis of western normative requirements (VDI 6022, DIN 1946-4), are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene.

The main requirements of ISO 9001 include among others: introduction of supervision over the documentation and records, involvement of the management in building the quality management system, systematization of resources management, establishment of the product realization processes, making systematic measurements (customer satisfaction, products, processes).

1999

Swimming pool AHUs

The company begins the production of other highly specialized air conditioning devices, such as modular pool units and systems dedicated to rooms with a high degree of humidity.

At that time KLIMOR also has a significant share in deliveries to other land market segments such as hotels, public buildings, industrial facilities and power plants.
