Advantages of recuperation

Klimor air-conditioning and ventilation systems are designed and manufactured in Poland in accordance with the most advanced technological trends and designs. Our recuperation units meet the criteria of the government’s “Clean Air” program (program “Czyste Powietrze”).

Do you know what recuperation is?

It is a kind of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Recuperator allows you to control the flow of air supplied into the room and to recover heat from the polluted air inside the house. Being the heart of the house, recuperator recovers the heat and uses it to warm up the fresh air. Filters additionally mounted in the recuperator purify the air from pollution, allergens and smog.

Is it worth to have a recuperator in the house?

Of course! What counts here is the economy – the possibility of saving the energy that we produce every day. In many systems the heat is ejected through the gravity chimneys. That way we’re losing about 30-50 % of the heat we have previously generated. These losses can be reduced by using a device with recovery exchangers, for example highly efficient counter-flow exchangers as in the KCX+ type devices. Less loss, more money in your pocket.

Is mechanical ventilation needed in the house?

Many clients ask themselves this question, especially at the stage of building the house. In fact, the gravity ventilation has been used in building the houses for many years. Present houses are becoming more and more airtight, they “breathe” worse and therefore require additional, mechanical ventilation. On the other hand, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery undoubtedly supports energy efficiency and allows for significant savings in heating costs. The changing statutory regulations also aim at using renewable energy devices cooperating with recuperation systems in the housing buildings.

Is recuperation only applied to a single-family housing?

Recuperator in the house becomes a standard, but it is a perfect solution not only for single family houses. The options of using air recuperators are numerous. KCX+ compact air handling units with heat recovery are successfully used in apartments, shops, restaurants, service points and offices.
