Throughout the last few years Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A. has been running the modernisation process on almost forty train stations in Poland. It is one of the biggest projects in the territory of Poland that is still in progress. All carried out operations are aimed at modernising Polish train stations including the PKP Gdynia train station which has also significantly changed its functions, image and availability to all passengers.

The renovated facility has been equipped, among other things, with ventilation and heating AWK systems by KLIMOR with differentiated capacity parameters. Compact supply and exhaust sets with heat (cool) recovery based on the cross-flow exchanger and reverse heat pump system have been suspended under ceilings of various rooms of the station.
