The current building of the Podkarpackie District Hospital in Krosno was put into use in 1995. In 1997 it was named after the Pope John Paul II and it was blessed by the Pope himself during his visit to Krosno.
The years from 2009 to 2012 covered a period of considerable investments made by the hospital in various stages. The first stage taking place between 2009 and 2011 included the installation of numerous KLIMOR devices including 3 hygienic AHUs with a glycol heat recovery system and cooler and heater sections with varied air capacity indexes, hygienic MCKH AHUs (including 8 roof type units), the air capacity value of one of the MCKH AHUs reaches even 24800m3/h.
In the second stage realized in 2012 16 hygienic air conditioning MCKH units and 1 suspended PCKb unit were installed. The air conditioning system prepared by KLIMOR covered numerous hospital rooms, mainly those where rigorous standards concerning air purity needed to be maintained. As a result KLIMOR devices guarantee the highest air standards in such rooms as operating theatres, post-operating wards, isolation wards, corridors and clean rooms, sterilization rooms, sterile rooms, intensive care units as well as internal ward rooms and bed wash stations.
