The Silesian Centre of Heart Diseases in Zabrze has undergone a thorough modernization during which the National Clinical and Scientific Centre for Lung and Heart Transplantation and Cystic Fibrosis Treatment for Adults and Children was established. As a part of the project, the hospital was extended by a four-storey C-module with a usable area of about 8,500 m2. The units and laboratories were comprehensively equipped with the necessary apparatus, equipment and sanitary and economic infrastructure at the highest level. The air exchange in the facility is carried out by the Klimor AHUs: standard MCKS and hygienic MCKH, the best ventilation and air-conditioning solution for clean rooms such as operating theatres and laboratories.
