KLIMOR COMPANY WAS AWARDED DURING THE 20TH EDITION OF THE POMERANIAN “GRYF GOSODARCZY 2019”

KLIMOR has won a very valuable Nagroda Pomorska Gryf Gospodarczy [Economic Gryphon Pomeranian Award] 2019 in the INVESTMENT LEADER category and a distinction in the INNOVATION LEADER category. The awards were presented during an official ceremony which took place on 20 September 2019 at the Gdańsk Baltic Opera, and they were received personally by Andrzej Walendowicz, Deputy President of the Management Board and Commercial Director.


Gryf Gospodarczy is one of the most prestigious regional awards granted jointly by the local economic organizations and the Pomorskie Voivodeship Marshal. Since 2000, the contest has been organized by the Pomeranian Entrepreneurship Council.

 

The contest aims, among others, at promoting entrepreneurial attitudes, supporting and initiating innovative and pro-development projects, especially those corresponding to the goals of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Development Strategy for 2020, as well as promotion of good business practices.

 

This year’s special, jubilee edition of Nagroda Pomorska Gryf Gospodarczy was attended by more than 100 enterprises. The award is granted to companies whose activities have favourably affected the economic development of Pomerania.

 

The highest award was granted to Klimor as a result of their considerable investments related to: factory extension, machinery replacement, integration of the acquired establishments within Clima Produkt, capacity enhancement, and promotion of the Polish company and brand abroad – states Andrzej Walendowicz, Deputy President of the Management Board and Commercial Director.
