KLIMOR IS GROWING IN STRENGTH – EXPANSION OF THE PRODUCTION HALL

Continuous development and growing production need, dictated by the growing demand for KLIMOR products, will soon result in the commencement of an investment related to the construction of a new production hall in Gdynia at Bolesława Krzywoustego 5 street. Under the roof of the hall there will be another over 2,000 m² of new space.

Work on the new investment project will start in the second half of this year. The investment will include the construction of a new production hall with an area of 2,000 m², which will eventually be combined with the existing one. In total, the Klimor production plant will increase to nearly 10,000 m² the area of the production and storage halls. In connection with the extension, the current modern machine park will be equipped and enriched with, among others, robotic CNC machine tools. The new hall is scheduled to be commissioned in the first half of 2019.

The expansion of KLIMOR's production plant in Gdynia is part of the long-term development strategy of the Klima-Therm Group, which includes expansion into foreign markets and development of new products, including the implementation of a new EVO series, scheduled for the second half of 2018. Increasing the production capacity of the plant will also allow for a significant reduction in the lead time. The investment connected with the extension of the production area of the plant is also a new job for the inhabitants of Trójmiasto and its surroundings. It can be estimated that Klimor will provide dozens of new vacancies thanks to the development.

The expansion of the plant is a strategic move resulting from the growing demand for our products, both on the Polish and foreign markets. We consider this construction investment as another important step in our long-term and systematic development, says Marek Kupiec, President of the Management Board at KLIMOR, adding: This investment will not only allow us to increase our current production capacity, but will also improve the efficiency of production management and streamline the efficient handling of larger orders.
